The Study 2018
Group exhibition.
The Study is a furniture piece. Its properties is Oak tree, MDF, Marble and Kobber.
It’s an abstraction of the study room, a room often used for cigar smoking and sitting behind a mahogany desk and opening important letters. It’s a symbol of upper class hierarchy and belongs to a particular life style. The modern almost cubist shaped chair in combination with lion legs, marble writing pad and paper made of copper a sculpturally psyrealist image pointing to your own imagination of a the character taken this hybrid of a furniture in to use. Maybe a place were artist manifests are written.
